Are my parents allowed to keep me from going to school?

They sound like excellent parents. They are absolutely 'allowed' to homeschool you. It is legal and they are not keeping you from an education simply becuase you don't agree with how they are providing an education. If you don't like the education they are providing... wait till you are 18 and go out and get one you like better. In the meantime, your parents are responsible for deciding what is best for you and what is or is not a 'hle' for them.
