My 98 Chevy C1500 won't start?

When I step on the accelerator it doesn't take. Now, the truck won't start. If pour gasoline into the carburetor it starts but will die out after. I change the fuel pump and that didn't work. I changed the Map sensor and that didn't work either. Any ideas of what it could be?
