How much more are you willing to pay for an item that's American made?

I'm an aircraft mechanic and I only buy Snap-on.. I had to buy a harbor freight (cheap chinese) ratchet once when I was working on my car.. because Airplanes are Standard, and Cars are usually metric.. the thing busted in half like within a day.
