Could you get an STD from unknowingly picking up a used tampon?

Accidentally picked up a used tampon of all things when a few of my papers fell out of my car. I only held it with my forefinger and my thumb, and I disinfected my hand right away. There wasn't any blood on it, it was all wet from the rain, though. Do you think there's any way you can get an STD from doing that? I disinfected right away and then poured straight rubbing alcohol all over my hand when I got home....
