Service Pack 3 For Windows XP?

I now have service pack 2 on my computer running XP Home Edition. I would like to upgrade to service pack 3. I know that when SP3 was introduced there were problems that needed to be addressed. Is SP3 now debugged and is it worth loading on the Home Edition ? Thank you in advance for any advice.
