Wanna meet my girlfriend, go to New York with her, my parents in the way?

Hey, I have strict parents too. Do they let you travel alone? Or would they let you go to NY to "meet a friend?" I wouldn't tell them about her, just try to go on your own and make up some excuse if you have to. I used to go to Destin, Florida during college, but I would tell my parents it was for a "Leadership conference". I know it's bad, but if you trust yourself, and your girl, make up some story and go. Believe me, parents like ours love to stay in denial.
